Jewel Me Pretty is a lovely Etsy shop filled with Parisian, vintage, pink, romance-inspired jewelry that I think should not just be called "jewelry" but delicate pieces of art.
I was fortunate to sit down with Rin over a little "chat" to learn more about herself and her cute little shop:
Me: Hello, Rin! So glad to have you hear in my garden this afternoon! Thank you for joining me! Tell me, why did you open an Etsy shop, and how long has it been in full operation?
Rin: I opened an Etsy shop mainly because I wanted to cater to international buyers. It was opened in October 2009, but I only started getting serious on Etsy after my first unexpected sale.
Me: So, what inspires you {or brings joy to you} as a crafter?
Rin: It is extremely rewarding as a crafter to be able to receive sincere appreciation from buyers. I feel more inspired knowing that someone out there values my handmade work.
Me: What special items might one find in the lovely shop of yours?
Rin: I adore pink and unique items with a romantic theme behind it. I usually create my items based on a song or a current relationship/past relationships. Most of my items are one of a kind or come in limited quantities to maintain exclusivity.
Me: Could you please tell my readers what the most enjoyable part of being an Etsy owner and crafter is?
Rin: Etsy is a community for crafters so it's definitely interesting to see other crafters come together to sell handmade products. I definitely enjoy being on Etsy because it feels more like a place to showcase your talent instead of other business minded selling places.
