I was so happy to have discovered Michelles shop on Etsy. Just the name of it made me excited!:) So, to-day in my garden, meet Miss Michelle, Etsy owner of cute, stylish shop

 Bobbins and Bits:

Me: Hello, Miss Michelle! Thank you so much for joining me in my garden this evening; so happy to have you here. Tell me, why did you open your lovely Etsy shop, and how long has it been in full operation?
Michelle: I've been a part of the Etsy community since last May and opened my own shop at the beginning of January. I've always had an interest in crafting, so this seemed like a perfect fit! I enjoy creating and then seeing people wearing or using my creations in some way. I feel like my shop is a cute, little gift shop where women and girls can pick out treasures for themselves or for a friend. 
Me: So, what inspires you, as a crafter?
Michelle: I am inspired by people and style. I look through magazines and blogs and see what items I would like to own and wear. Then I put my own little twist on things. For example, headbands are a huge fashion trend for 2011. So, when you view my headbands, you are able to see my own personal take on this trend.

Me: Do you think you could tell my readers what special items might one find in that delightful store of yours?  
Michelle: My shop features headbands, rings, earrings, necklaces and an occasional vintage item. I have a lot of different options and always keep my inventory fresh!

Me: How lovely! So what is, to you, the most enjoyable part of being an Etsy owner and crafter? 
Michelle: I have a great deal of time invested into my store and I am very proud of what I create. There's a sense of pride one gets when they have something all of their own. My boyfriend took the pictures for my shop, but other than that, I did everything on my own. It takes a while, but it's all so worth it when it's done!
