Miss Grace: I opened my etsy shop because I love handmade products and the opportunity to sell my handmade items was very exciting. I have a huge passion for creating new and fun designs using all the colors I possibly can and drawing inspiration from God's creation. My shop has been open since March 9th 2010.
Me: What inspires you {or brings joy to you} as a crafter?
Miss Grace: My inspiration mainly comes from nature as far as colors but there are touches of folk art here and there along with some inspiration that comes from different patterns in fabric, pieces of art, etc.
Me: What special items can one find in your shop?
Miss Grace: In my shop you will mostly find crocheted items that are full of texture (I love texture and creating pieces that are visually interesting in color and are fun to touch as well). There are also touches of knitting, sewing, etc.
Me: What is the most enjoyable part of being an Etsy owner and crafter?
Miss Grace: The most enjoyable part of being a crafter and seller is coming up with an idea from scratch, turning it into a design, turning that design into a product, and having the final product be a total hit! :)
Me: Name your best selling item{s} in your shop. The best selling items in my shop are my fingerless gloves.
Me: Tell us, Grace, what are some of your favorite Etsy sellers/shops?
Miss Grace: Some of my favorites include:
Among many, many others :)
Me: Do you have a goal for your Etsy?
Miss Grace:My goal right now is just to keep growing my number of sales, possibly be featured in magazines, and keep the friendly small-business feel to my business. :)
