God Speaks

Found these interesting ads supposedly created by god! Now isn't that a novel way of communicating with us humans!! :P These ads actually remind me of the animated conversations that i have with god from time to time. Yep, i prefer conversing with god rather than praying, call it my style of praying. :) Enjoy these ads, and let me know which one u liked the most. Also tell me how was your weekend, mine was gr8 and you'll soon see a post on that.

Earth Hour 2009 What Will You Be Doing?

Cuddling up with your loved ones and admiring the stars in the night sky or organising a treasure hunt in the dark? At 8:30pm on Saturday 28 March, people from all corners of the world will turn off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour - and cast their vote for action on climate change. Anybody can participate and join together with millions of people across the globe celebrating Earth Hour.

Earth Hour is about taking simple steps everyday that collectively reduce carbon emissions from businesses turning off their lights when their offices are empty to households turning off appliances rather than leaving them on standby.

Here are a few different ways to spend Earth Hour and reduce your carbon footprint:
Justify Full

1. Attend a local Earth Hour event or organise your own by throwing an Earth Hour street party with your neighbours

2. Gather family & friends for a night picnic in your local park and look at the stars

3. Enjoy a family dinner by candlelight

4. Organise a treasure hunt in the dark

5. Take the dog for a night walk

6. Have a candle-lit bath

7. Sit in the dark and share stories

8. Organise a family night playing board games

9. Share a romantic night in with your loved one

Earth Hour Executive Director, Andy Ridley, is encouraging people to participate in whatever way they choose and to think beyond the hour.

There are no hard and fast rules surrounding participation in Earth Hour. We only ask that you flick that switch and have fun doing whatever you choose to do during that time.

Make Earth Hour work for you. Families with young children should feel free to turn their lights off earlier than 8:30pm and for those having too much fun in the dark during the hour, dont feel you have to limit yourself to one hour and switch back on at 9:30pm.

To find out more about Earth Hour, visit the official website www.earthhour.org, sign up and join millions of people in more than 1,400 cities and towns in 80 countries throughout the world by turning off your lights for one hour at 8:30pm on Saturday 28 March.

Truth of Life

Some instances just end up substantiating this quote.....Really don't feel like writing anything today. Call it one of those low days or whatever! Would love to read what all of u think about this quote.

First it was the Fritzl case and now with this case which happened in our very own Mumbai, I am wondering where are we heading.I dont have words to describe what I felt when I read and saw this case on TV. All I can say is that its downright sick and the thought of having such parents disgusts me!!

The question is; How can somebody do this to his own child?? And now, can this girl ever trust anybody!? Can she ever forget what her own father did to her!?
I really dunno what else to say!!

A Li'l Bit of Me!!

Today wasn't such a good day. I am not saying this coz i had a bad experience or something, its jus that the day passed by very slowly and i was feeling very dull and sluggish through!! Anyways, i am glad that i m done with the day and have some great plans for the weekend. Planning to see "Straight" starring Vinay Pathak and Gul Panag tomorrow and i also plan to catch up with my best friend after a long time. So Saturday's gonna be packed with action! :)

That's about it for now, i somehow feel there's been a strange lull in blogville off late! Most of the ppl have either taken a break or have left blogging altogether. And this include some of my very dear friends, i am sure i won't be able to name all of them but yeah i do miss Keshi a lot. A lot of ppl here know that we were jus like twins! I dunno why but there was this strange connection that i felt with her. And i feel a void a lot many times and her absence jus becomes way too obvious. I hope she gets back soon, and i also hope that all my friends who are on a break get back soon coz i really miss them!! :( :(

Ok, now i don't want to end this post on a sad note so i took this fun and interesting quiz which was suggested to me by Xh. U'll find all the details on his page, its a nice way of discovering urself. So take this quiz and lemme know how close do u find urself with the analysis. Here is my result:

Click to view my Personality Profile page

And this thing down there describes my personality type:

ESFJ

Does not like being alone, thinks life has purpose/meaning, organized, values organized religion, outgoing, social, does not like strange people/things - likely intolerant of differences, open, easy to read, dislikes science fiction, values relationships and families over intellectual pursuits, group oriented, follows the rules, affectionate, planner, regular, orderly, clean, finisher, religious, consults others before acting, content, positive, loves getting massages, complimentary, dutiful, loving, considerate, altruistic.

The Bershka collection wants to be even more visible!

Annoying Alarm Clocks

Some interesting innovations which are here to ruin our sleep -

#10 Climbing clock: It hangs above your head and starts climbing while it rings. Don't wake up fast enough, and you won't be able to shut it up without a ladder.

# 9 Wake Up Puzzle: You have to build the puzzle to make stop the alarm!

# 8 Wake or Curse: You can ask it what the time is and it will answer. But if you don't wake up quickly enough it will curse you.

# 7 High Tech: This one has a vibrator, 95 db alarm and police style rotating light that you cannot ignore.

# 6 Find The Pin: You need find the right pin to stop it's ringing. Not going to stay sleepy after this mission.

# 5 Chicken and Egg Problem: The egg laying alarm clock. It will only quiet down after you put all the eggs back.

# 4 GI Joe: You will wake to the sound of your commander's wake up call. Better not mess with it!

# 3 Floating Around: Will float around the room until you'll catch it.

# 2 Kaboom:
This acoustic grenade will wake the neighborhood with it's ultra loud sound level.

# 1 Hide and Seek: The winner is the hide and seek alarm clock. Once it begins to ring it falls down on the floor and finds a random place to hide. Chase it down or else you're doomed.
