I whole-heartedly agree with the quote above. Nothing at all compares to the assurance that home is where you can always return.
There is something about a city - especially that of the atmosphere of always rushing about in a hasty matter - that does not appeal to me, that stirs an uncomfortable emotion that I am not accustomed to. I am quite accustomed to a more leisurely pace, where the air and skies are clear, pure and sweet, and where the confusion of the city does not touch our quiet {yet rapidly growing ;)} town.
Los Angeles, I have been going to my whole life, and although I feel a subtle feeling of ill comfort there as well, 'tis not the same as Sacramento at all.
All in all, I am glad to declare that...
I am home!
For truly, as the great Miss Jane Austen put it, "There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort."
Home can be translated different ways. A home may be a place of birth or merely a place where you have lived or made residence for a certain period of time, yet the only way that I can describe a home is this:
Home is indeed, where the heart is. A home can merely be a house, wood and walls and a roof, but it takes family, dreams, memories, and love to build a true home.
I love this video of Narnia, although, I am not a fan of Switchfoot. ;) The last fifteen seconds of the videos makes me smile every time.
How good it is to be home!
Where we love is home,
Home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.
~Oliver Wendell Holmes
Love always from my home garden,

P.S. I have HUNDREDS of pictures I took at the Sacramento Rose Gardens that I will be posting, hopefully, on the morrow. <3
